Med Pass Training: The 3 Way Check

Hi Terrell, this is the course version of the med pass video: 18 short scenarios, about 25 minutes, with 28 questions. Staff must answer before they can continue, and every answer shows the right one and why.

The file to upload into iCareManager (30 MB) is shared separately by Alphonse.

Trying it here records nothing. In iCareManager it records each staff member's completion, date and score.

How to add it to iCareManager

1. Download the zip file Alphonse shared. Do not unzip it.
2. Open Training Management and pick the training (the existing "Medication Administration Assessment", or a new one such as "Med Pass: The 3 Way Check").
3. Open Training Material. Under "Other Training Material (SCORM)", add a new item and choose the zip.
4. On the Policy tab, choose the roles and job titles who must take it, and set the mode so staff can complete it themselves.
5. Try it once with one staff account and check the Trainee Log shows them as trained, with the date.

Please confirm

1. Must staff call the nurse before every PRN dose, as the video shows?
2. When a dose shows "Not Administered" in red, is "call the nurse before giving anything" the SFAH rule?
3. Is "offer it with food only if the order allows" the right wording?
4. Which training should the course go in, and which roles and job titles take it?
